Now, if you're feeling a little overwhelmed - I want to tell you something. That feeling is NORMAL.  The beauty of this team community is that we have a lot of resources - we SHARE with one another. But that also means, it can feel like a freight train coming at you in the beginning. You don't have to know everything about coaching at this very moment. Don't feel like you need to know it ALL. Focus on learning a little bit each day - focus on mastering the basics. Again, you don't need to know it all to be great. Every single coach began where you are beginning (with probably far less resources). Make a decision not to be overwhelmed - but to see this as an opportunity to learn - over time. Be patient, learn a little every day, and most importantly - trust that the most important thing you can do, as a coach, is MASTER the 4 Vital Behaviors!

 

We started our journey - just like you. No customers. No coaches. No team name. We just decided to start. Take my advice, grab a new notebook - dive in to learn & then put what you learn into action. As you have questions, reach out to your sponsor! Schedule a getting started right call, post in team pages & take advantage of the awesome FAQ resources in the Coach Online Office. This really should be one of the first things you do. You can access your personal coach websites by replacing "SCREENNAME" in the links below with the screenname that you chose when you enrolled as a coach. If you aren't sure what your screenname is, feel free to talk with your upline coach and they can point you in the right direction.

 

 

 

Anytime someone makes a purchase from your Shakeology, Beachbody Coach or Ultimate Reset websites, you will make a 25% commission or higher with the exception of apparel and certain accessories.

DISCOUNT/HOBBY COACHES: You may think you can just skip this information, but believe it or not A HUGE AMOUNT of the most successful coaches in this network started simply because they wanted the discount. As you achieve your own personal fitness goals - you are bound to have others asking what you've been up to! Save these links just in case.

 

BUSINESS COACHES: Long term income is not all about sales, in fact it will eventually be the smallest portion of your income as a coach. However, in the beginning these sales commissions are going to start the ball rolling. The goal is to shoot for 3-5 challenge pack sales for 3-5 new people a month so you can truly focus on helping them through their journey. Keep these links handy, its ALWAYS good to have these as a back up. But I am going to show you an awesome resource for when you are ready to sign up challengers & coaches of your own.

FIRST, SET UP YOUR EFT MANAGEMENT

​

Once you setup your EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) you will receive a direct deposit from whatever you earn. It's important to remember - we are a week behind - so you will be paid from the previous week. If you don't set up your EFT in your Coach Online Office you will receive a paper check in the mail a few weeks later than when it is earned and will be charged a small printing fee. There really is no reason NOT to set up your EFT - so be sure to do that TODAY. 

 

 

WILL MY BANK ACCOUNT OVERDRAW?

The answer is NO. If someone returns a product, they are guaranteed a full money refund (which is awesome customer service and a policy you will be able to leverage to your potential challengers) which means that your comission will also be returned. It is a bummer if this happens - but it's not too big of a deal. Beachbody will put your coach account (not your bank account) into a negative volume number. All that means is that the next commission you earn will go towards the deficit caused by the return until you break even. So, your bank account is safe and will only be receiving paychecks.

 

 

TAXES. You are an independent distributor (or contractor) through Beachbody so you're not a salaried employee. If you earn over $600 a year, you will receive a 1099. We'll cross that bridge once we get there together. I am unable to offer any tax advice - but as your business grows, I recommend seeking out a CPA for professional advice. 

 

It is important to note that the paychecks that you receive from Beachbody are not taxed. There are two ways to go about this situation responsibly. 

 

  • Save 30-40% of your income in a separate account for taxes at the end of the year.

  • Be prepared to pay 30-40% of your income at the end of the year.
